The mission of the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund is to give away grants to San Diego organizations that benefit children, women, healthcare, military, education, and social service on a rotating basis. This year’s grants totaled $442,000 and were awarded to military and women’s services, bringing the organization over the $5 million mark in grants given out in its 19-year history. This past spring, the group listened to the finalists for this year’s grants present their request, followed by a luncheon and awards celebration where the monies were distributed.
