Rancho Santa Fe Women's Funds Hosts Annual Summer Social

JULY 16, 2026 — 11:47 AM

Members of the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund (RSFWF) gathered on July 9 for the organization’s annual Summer Social, a fun and festive event held at the Del Rayo Downs Clubhouse. Members enjoyed refreshments, games, networking, and the opportunity to connect with one another in a relaxed setting.

The event was co-hosted by Membership Chairs Marilyn Tedesco and Dina Lieber, along with Social Chairs Anne Thorson and Jennifer Steber. Their efforts helped create an enjoyable afternoon that reflected the strong sense of community that defines RSFWF, a news release stated.

The Summer Social comes as RSFWF prepares to launch its new membership season and grant cycle. The grant cycle will begin on Aug. 1 when a link on the website will “go live” allowing interested nonprofits to submit their online Letter of Intent forms. This year the RSFWF will be accepting Letters of Intent for programs in the areas of women’s services and children and youth services. The membership season will kick off in September with a cocktail hour and speaker event.

RSFWF is a collective giving organization dedicated to strengthening communities throughout San Diego County, with a particular emphasis on North County. Since its founding in 2004, the organization has awarded nearly $6.8 million in grants to 188 local nonprofit organizations serving critical community needs. In its most recent grant cycle, RSFWF awarded $532,000 to 11 nonprofit organizations focused on health services and social services, the news release stated.

Through member-led philanthropy, volunteerism, and social connection, RSFWF supports innovative nonprofit programs addressing urgent local needs. In addition to its grantmaking, the organization brings women together in meaningful and impactful ways and fosters engagement through educational programming, guest speaker events, volunteer opportunities, and member gatherings such as the Summer Social, the news release added.
